Live Embroidery / Pop-Up FAQs

DO YOU ALWAYS BRING YOUR MACHINE TO POP-UP EVENTS?

Nope! There are two types of pop-up events:

  1. Gabby & Threads comes to your studio with an assortment of pre-made grip and regular crew socks for sale (no machine involved).
  2. On-the-spot embroidery where Gabby brings her embroidery machine and stitches live. Gabby is able to stitch items she provides (socks, totes, hats, etc.) or you can provide items for her to embroider at the event.

HOW DOES PRICING WORK FOR LIVE EMBROIDERY EVENTS?

Pricing varies depending on the type of event. Generally events fall in one of these two categories:

  1. OPTION 1: Studio/Business offers this as a gift and covers the cost of the items, hourly rate, etc.
  2. OPTION 2: Studio/Business Hosts Gabby & Threads for pop-up, we charge customers regular price for our socks for on-demand embroidery. There is a set up fee for bringing the machine.

WHAT ITEMS DO YOU EMBROIDER DURING EVENTS?

I carry regular inventory for hats, tote bags, tank tops, and grip/regular socks. If you are interested in having other items embroidered at your event I am happy to help source them for you!
